Great place to ride from! Private access to the dunes, great facilities, all the stuff you need and even mushrooms!

A place to go and enjoy your time. Riding on the dunes or bone fire or hiking. A clean place to camp and fish and ride. Just make sure to lock up your gas can. The hosts do their rounds around the part daily and they talk to the guests but they cannot protect you 24.7.365. The deputies have been amazing. I enjoyed asking them dumb questions to see their response and it is always funny. Overall a clean park and a friendly set of rangers and a super interesting care taker of the campground. Martha and she is like a happy grandma.

Great place to bearing your rig to run the dunes. A lake to enjoy for fishing or just walking trails. Making improvements every year.

Of all the campgrounds on the southern dunes, this one is my favorite. You can ride south to Boxcar Hill, or north to Spinreel. All sites have 30 Amp service, except for the D Loop. D Loop has 50 Amp service. The ONLY drawback on the whole park, is lack of sewer hook-ups. The park is well maintained, and they don't tolerate rowdy behavior. I've witnessed a Ranger evict a group for excessive noise and drinking before. They have little to no tolerance for campers who don't respect their fellow campers.

The campground is perfect if you are coming with a group. Staff keep the restrooms and showers clean at all times. I never saw the staff but I planned on thanking them for the cleanliness. The campground was full when we were there and everyone was very friendly and nice. If you get a chance, this is money well spent!

This is a great spot to camp and Quad. There is a small lake also. And a kids area for learning. Trying to get a reservation sucks. They need to up date there system. The new area is open area D. The spots are not as nice as the rest of the area but they do have 50 amp breakers for those who want to go camping and not leave home.

Great county campground. Water and electric service. But no septic. Has showers at restrooms. D loop is newer with 50 amp service. But is more open and tends to be muddy in the winter. Great access to dunes.

Dog friendly areas. Plenty of restrooms with hot showers. Each spot for camping has a picnic table and fire pit. Very nice.
